Academic Activity: He has been professor of the School of Law at Universidad de los Andes, Chile; currently, he is professor of Civil Law at the School of Law of P. Universidad Católica de Chile. He is permanently invited to give classes in different postgraduate programmes of Law Schools of our country.

Other Activities: Former advisor for the Colegio de Abogados A.G.; former Supreme Court attorney and arbitrate for the Arbitration and Mediation Center at Santiago’s Chamber of Commerce.

Prior Work Experience: Colegio San Benito (1982-1987); Mayor of the Municipality of Renca (1989-1992); Consejo de Defensa del Niño (1992-1994); Professor at Universidad de los Andes’ School of Law, where he was Director of the School of Law’s Doctorate Program (2001-2007) and Dean (2010-2012).
